We want to help you capture a lifetime of happiness.
Someone asked me what my favorite thing to photograph is...
I thought about it for a minute, but it then it occurred to me: love. I am generally a happy/positive/glass half full type and I really enjoying making other people happy. If I deliver a wedding gallery and you cry tears of joy, I know I did my job well! I want to leave behind a legacy of making emotive films and photo galleries. I couldn't do it without my customers and their loved ones, so thank you for allowing me to share in your happiness and capture your special moments!
Meet the team
Although I run a single member LLC, it is not uncommon for me to bring a qualified friend to help me cover a wedding or event. Where do I meet these people? I am a current member of several photography and filmmaking social media groups, filmmaking clubs, and I love attending church and community workshops, contests, and volunteer opportunities. I've met other photographers at organized styled session shoots and just walking around town. When I meet one, I always check out their online presence and social media pages. I have built a network of "second shooters" but really they have become much more like friends, mentors, and mentees. If I am in the middle of the busiest time of year and something comes up, I have actually been able to train some second shooters. This is where I reach out to my friend groups outside of filmmaking and find out who would be interested in helping. I love helping others learn and I like that I can direct on certain aspects that are within my style. I have been surprised and so fortunate to find out how creative my friends are when I put a camera in their hands for a few months. It's been so fun!
I am a father, fiance, Christ follower, military veteran, San Diego State grad, local Turlock native, and now again, Turlock resident. The military brought me to San Diego where I was stationed on a US Navy warship and went on two tours overseas and around the world. After the military I attended school at SDSU, then landed a career as a civil servant. I started making films while in the military, but really ramped it up in college when a professor offered the class the option of making a final PowerPoint presentation, writing a paper, or making a documentary. I invested time and money into learning the art and have loved it ever since. In 2015 I started filming weddings. I have learned a lot and received a lot of great word of mouth referrals and been blessed with the opportunity to do this and be paid as a professional for it. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to move home closer to family and I met my future wife up here. I am slowly but surely managing this as a business and starting to interact more online and with social media. Questions? I am happy to chat anytime! I take a lot of pride in being there for my customers and being approachable and kind. I wouldn't be here doing what I love without you.

Are you a local filmmaker or photographer looking for work as a second shooter? I am always interested in meeting new people. I require meeting a second shooter at least 2 months prior to any scheduled event where I need help. I'd like to meet with you for a couple hours at a time to go out on some test shoots. Weddings are far too important to show up untrained, but we all started somewhere. Let's connect today and add you to my network of friends who may be able to assist when needed! Please contact me and include social media, websites, galleries of your previous work.
